Pack A Picnic

My husband was up late last night working on some projects, so I was up late looking through blogs and online galleries. The new Pack A Picnic template just kept calling my name. I am hooked on these templates! There is a smaller version and a larger version and this is the small version. It is really quite small. As I was assembling it, I couldn't quite decide what I would put in it. Then it hit me: my daughter could use it for her nail polish and lip gloss {yep, she's all girl}. She's been carrying it around all day, so I think it was a success with her. I can't wait to try the bigger picnic basket now.

Stamps: SU Botanical Blooms
Ink: PTI Raspberry Fizz, Ripe Avocado
CS: PTI Spring Moss, Vintage Cream
Accessories: Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch, American Crafts Brads

I am with ya girl! I am hooked on Lauren's templates. As soon as this one released I was online buying it. I made the larger one for my Nephew (23) and filled it with chocolate chip cookies! They are just so adorable. I love yours sooo girlie!

What a cute and fun basket! Has your daughter petitioned ones for her friends? That scallop edge makes it so pretty and I love the flowers you used.

This is SO pretty! I like the flowers you chose to stamp and the lacy border. How fun that your daughter is using it as a makeup carrier.

When we had our yard sale a couple of months ago, one of the things I was getting rid of was some old baskets. I had one that was painted white with pink trim and ribbons. How I ended up with something so girly I have no idea! But anyway... this little girl (about 6 or 7) came up to my booth and just had to have it. So I sold it to her for only a quarter. She immediately put her doritos in it and was so thrilled that now she had a pretty carrier for her chips!

This is awesome, Rebecca - you did a great job with this....and you are so talented that you can make things like this and make them look so good too. It doesn't look that small....but it sounds like it was perfect for all the little girl goodies for your daughter.

Hi Rebecca

Fantastic project. I love it!

Must admit it does look huge in the photograph - but sounds like you would go hungry if you tried to pack a picnic in it!!

The stamping on it is really beautiful.

I bet your daughter is well pleased.

Love Jules xx
