I can't believe it's the end of summer for us. My little boy starts 3rd grade on Wednesday and then next week my daughter starts kindergarten! It doesn't seem possible that it's already this time of year again. This is what I made for my daughter to give her some goodies in before her first day. I know I'm doing it backwards since my son starts before her, but I haven't decided what to do for him yet. I don't think he'd like the floral theme too well. My plan at this point is to fill it with some little bite size chocolates. I was going to take a picture with it full, but the little people in my house that love chocolate ate all the stash up. So I took a picture with it next to finger nail polish so you can get a better idea of the size. A lot of these 3-D projects look bigger to me than they actually are....so here's a comparison photo.
That is all for now. We're hoping to go and swim and pretend that it's not really the end of summer! Enjoy your Monday.

What a wonderful little box to get her on her way! I have a 3rd grader and 1st grader this year - can't believe it!
Thanks for the photo with the nail polish--it looked so much bigger in the first photo.
You're choice of decoration for this template is lovely! I'm sure her teacher will love it.
Our kids are the same age. I have a 3rd grader and a Kindergartener this year. 3rd grade is real school. yikes.
What a cute box...love the stamps you used! How fun for the first day of school!
Wow, what a great mom you are! I love the box, and thanks for the comparison...I definitely thought it was larger than that!
This is SO pretty. I like that you put the nail polish next to it for reference. Looks like a great, small size for a little treat.
I'm so glad you put a picture with the nail polish...I just assumed this was big....but it's not - but it's still adorable. Can't believe you stamped all that...seems tedious - - but so worth it because the outcome is super!
I can't keep chocolates around at all...I eat them up! Her teacher will certainly like this cute bag of goodies!
