Well, I promise to be back someday with a card or a scrapbook page. I'm just on a roll getting my recipe cards done, and haven't been able to take a break from it! Today's recipe to share is Chicken Chow Mein.
My husband loves this recipe, it's one of his favorites. I started by using this Chow Mein Recipe from Recipezaar. Some of the ingredients that recipe called for, I didn't buy since I didn't know if I'd like it and ever want to make it again, so I made do with substitutions that I thought would work. The recipe card is my version of the original, with some tweaking. Also, the first time that I tried it, I did have the fresh Chinese noodles originally called for in the recipe. And they were good. But my husband liked it so much he wanted me to make it again right away. Well, we hadn't been to the store, and I'd used all the noodles on the first batch. We ended up just using thin spaghetti noodles instead, and that's what we usually use now.

Your blog is making me fat...and hungry all the time. When are you going to go back to making cards?! :( I asked my husband to add Chinese chicken casserole to the menu this week or next.
But for this card - I like how the kraft pops on the lighter flowery background.
I love these recipe cards, and if you are on a roll and getting things done good for you! I'll give this one a try sometime! Thanks!
What a fun project and so useful too!! Your recipes look yummy. Next time I need dinner....I will come visit your blog.
hugs,
Chris
