With all the crazy weather we've been having this year, it has hardly felt like spring, and now it's almost summer. We have 2 weeks of school left for my kindergartener, 3 for my 3rd grader, and I'm excited! We had a baseball game last night that I had to wear a winter coat, hat, and gloves to. It was SO cold. This tree in our neighbor's field blew down a few weeks ago when we had a crazy wind storm.
And now for a card. I love it when I'm looking out in blogland and see a card or two that sparks my creativity. Or when I see a card that is so awesome, I just want to hurry and case it. I saw this fabulous card on Susan's Simplicity blog back before Easter, and I loved it. It's been in my head ever since then. Then I saw this card on a different Susan's blog (Mad Sky Designs). Well, I decided to use the layout from the first card and the colors on the second, and this is what I came up with:
A super quick and easy card, with colors that I just love. Enjoy your Friday!
Stamps: PTI Communique Curves Sentiments
Ink: PTI True Black
CS: PTI Hawaiian Shores, Summer Sunrise, White, SU Rose Red

So pretty and sweet!
You are the queen bee of CAS cards! This is lovely and I like the pops of color on the white background.
May 25th is the last day of school for both my kids! Yipee!
Love the simplicity, I might try something like this! Thanks for the inspiration!
losing trees suck, i'm a total tree-hugger! super card, love the simplicity! beautiful!
Simple and pretty. Great color combo.
Wow - that tree looks big and old and strong....to get knocked over...man...that's brutal!
Hey - another card...like the real kind! And isn't the Communique $5 set the best? Love the font and the cheapness of that little set. The little bling centers are sweet too.
This is so pretty!!! I wish I could do CAS as well as you! I hope it warms up for you soon! We're in the 90's already~brutal! I just stay inside where the a/c is nice and cool LOL! Have a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow :)
Wow, this rocks! Now I feel a CASE coming on!
Fabulous! Those colors are so happy!
That is a beautiful card! Love the rhinestones on the butterflies. I rarely get linked from someone's blog. I feel so special! :)
I really like all the butterflies...and the sentiment goes perfectly!
It's amazing how much impact this card can have! It's just gorgeous and would make the recipient feel all warm and fuzzy ;o)
