Well, I hope you've all had a wonderful week! It's starting to feel like fall here. When the kiddos have been getting on the bus in the morning it's been 55 degrees....perfect weather for running! Saturday was too cold, though. My son's football team had an 8 a.m. game, which meant 7 a.m. practice. It was 36 degrees!!! Hot chocolate weather, only I didn't pack any hot chocolate. Anyway, on to my page. This is from the day my kiddos finally mastered the art of bike riding. Yes, I kind of feel like a bad mom admitting that I had a 9 and 6 year old that didn't know how to ride their bikes. But, they didn't, that's life, and now they do. So it's all good! And they are super happy!!! I finally FINALLY used an element on this page that I've been meaning to for ages. Bingo cards seem to be making the rounds in the crafting world, and I've seen them on lots of cards and every time I do, it reminds me that I have these digi ones I've been waiting and waiting to use. Well, this project just called out to me to finally use one. And I'm so glad I did, I love the fun look it adds to the page.

Awesome layout, Rebecca!!! I'm so glad to see a new post from you! I've missed you, girlie:)
Wow, really great page, Rebecca! I love all the fun elements on this page--the bingo card is cute, and I love the look of the staples and little tags! Nice job! My kids were each about 7 before they mastered a two-wheeler--so was I for that matter!
Great to see you posting! You have been missed. Fab layout and one day I'm gonna scrap again!
I love this layout! You did great on it, those tags are cute! Hope to see some more posts from you soon! :)
Great page. Love the color combo and the layout. Especially how you used one stretched out photo to get both kids in the shot. Such a nice memory to capture.
I don't specifically remember this, but my mother tells this story about my first time riding my bike. Christmas 1968 my sister, Sandy, and I got a joint gift of a 2 wheeler bicycle. It was gold colored, had a banana seat and a big sissy bar. In NH (as I guess it is in UT) you can't ride a bike in the winter, so we rode it around, with the training wheels on, in our basement. I have a photo of us both doing that.
Spring comes, I was 6 years old and in first grade. Sandy had just turned 5 and wasn't in school yet so she was home all day. While I was at school, my mother taught her to ride the bike without the training wheels. My mom says I walked to the house (no school buses back then - we walked the 9/10 mile to school) and saw her riding that bike without the training wheels and I was mad as a hornet that my younger sister was doing something I couldn't do yet. She said I took possession of the bike and, without her help, spent a few hours out in the road and taught myself to ride without the training wheels. Actually, that sounds just like something I would have done :-) I'm kind of like that now. I don't like to get shown up by others for something I should know how to do.
very nice! love to see you're creating again! i wish i could get out of my funk to join you...
Love your page.... looks like they are having fun!
Bingo card!! That was the first thing I noticed - - love that...and the little staples...and the great story. My kids will be teenagers before they learn to ride bikes...if ever...
Fab layout! Looks like you all had a fun time :o) I'm not one for trends much, but I love the Bingo card with Happy at the top - cute!!
Cool layout! I love how much you got to journal! I'm sure they missed a few bruised knees learning late!!! Good thinking :)
