Happy New Year!!!

Hello again, friends! Can you believe it is already 2011?  I have seen several blogs lately that highlighted some of their favorite cards/projects from the year.  I think that's an awesome idea!  Too bad I fell off the blogging wagon a bit last year.  haha!  Oh, well.  I did keep one thing going.  At the beginning of last year I had in mind to do a Project 365/Photo of the Day.  Basically you take a picture each day documenting life and at the end of the year you have a really cool album of the past year.  Well, I didn't totally keep up with my project as far as getting the pictures on layouts.  But I did keep taking pictures.  Lots and lots of pictures.  And early on in the year, I was doing a weekly layout.  But I decided to shift to a monthly layout.  So today I can share with you October, November and December.

I found a great template on Designer Digitals that I modified to fit my needs. Now, perhaps you noticed, but this template has room for only 28 photos.  I generally do take a picture almost every single day, but I have missed a day or two. This layout gives me a little wiggle room.  If I miss a day, no big deal.  Or if I have a day that I want to include several pictures from, I do that.  Now, for a little help from my crafting friends.  The titles are not the same on all of them.  November has "2010 memories" all across the page while October and November do not.  I could not decide which way I liked better.  I had the people in my house vote, and it was a split decision among the 4 of us.  So I am just hoping for a little input from you.  I always like to know other crafters' opinions on stuff like this.

And while I won't be making any New Year's resolutions like "post to my blog every day," I do hope to share a few more projects this year than last.  Have a great one!

A crafty project? No way!

I prefer just the one time "2010 memories" and not all the way across. I love the font of the months; and think taking a picture a day is a great idea.

I am so glad to see you on here again! I love these, you did great. If these were mine I am not sure which way I would do the 2010 memories. Maybe you could put a ribbon behind it so that it looks like it is stamped on the ribbon? But I also like the clean look of just one of them.

Anyway, so nice to see you posting again!

What a great idea and what great pages. I like the neutral colored background so it doesn't compete with the coloful photos. I like that your photos encompass things other than people like the temperature sign on the November page. That really tells a story. I like your title design. I guess I'm voting more for the single "2010 memories" because I like things simple.

Good to see you back blogging again.

Good to see you posting! These are great pages; love the collage effect. I think I like the November page where the sentiment goes across the whole top....

I gave up on my Project Life last year because I missed so many days; I figured I would just save the album for this year. I know we are only 6 days into the new year, but I have taken my pictures...yay me! I told my family that I will need help on the days that I work, so they will get to take the pics.... I really want to keep up with it because it is a really cool project.

Yay! So happy to see more of your fantastic work! This is such a fabulous idea - I adore it and may have to steal it ;o) I think my vote is for the single 2010 memories...it gets a little too busy for my eye when it runs the length of the page

Yep, I like the one time 2010 memories. What a great idea. Kind of like the thumbnail print page when you get pictures developed!
