It's Official

Well, it's official!  My daughter had her kindergarten assessment this morning, but it's over with and we are home.  So now I can say her summer has officially started.  Now if the weatherman would get the memo, and quit sending us rain, and even little patches of snow, I'd be a lot happier!  Today's project is what we made to give to her ballet teacher on her last day of dance class last week.

I always consider it a successful project if I get to combine pink, kraft, and a favorite template of mine!  I have to show the inside, too.  We piled some mini chocolate candy bars in, and added an iTunes gift card (not pictured, we picked it up on the way to ballet!).  I love the size of this carton.  I think it's perfect for getting just the right amount of chocolate in there!

Stamps: PTI Background Basics: Text Style
Ink: PTI Dark Chocolate
CS: PTI Rustic Cream, Kraft
DP: Unknown, but I love it ;)
Accessories: PTI Sweet Blush Saddle Stitched Ribbon

Oh my, Rebecca, this is so pretty! I love the text around the bottom. It's so soft and perfect for a ballet teacher! School's out tomorrow for us and it's 91 here today and it feels like it. The school has a block party every year and today my girls got to beat the heat with a slip n slide, bounce house thingys, bungee...bouncing (?? it's not jumping off something) and the fire dept came and had a spray going for the kids to run around in. They had face painting, bingo, popsicles ,etc. My girls love it but my oldest complained her PB&J was hot and gross. Not my fault they ate lunch outside when it's 90! LOL

Just the right amount of chocolate. What is just the right amount of chocolate? Because that doesn't look like just the right amount of chocolate for me - LOL I remember this paper - - and it's so perfect for this occasion. And if she's going to stay in ballet, hang on to every last piece of it that you got! This lil' box is just adorable and I love that you used saddlestitch ribbon. Summer is here!! - - well, with a little bit of snow to go with.

I love this little box - so perfect for a ballet teacher. I hear you about the weather - just when we think it is going to be nice we are hit with cold. Enjoy your summer!
