Here is my prototype card for the PTI swap I joined at SCS. I wanted to do something light and nice for spring. Originally I added a nesties border around the main image, but it just felt too heavy to me. So I left it like this. I usually like to add a mat of some kind around the image, but I think the embossed edge gives it a similar look, even though it's not a different color.
So unless I have a moment of total self-doubt, this is the card I'll be submitting for my swap.
Stamps: PTI Life
Ink: PTI Hibiscus Burst, PTI Ripe Avocado
Cardstock: PTI Lavender Moon, PTI White
DP: Basic Grey
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Labels One Nestabilities, Offray Ribbon

so so cute, great colors.
I am envious of your Label one nesties...I still haven't gotten any yet. Someday... Your card is very nice for spring.I love the stamps!
I think you are right. Adding a border to this light and airy design would be overwhelming. The embossing adds just enough detail to make the image stand out. Very pretty.
This is very pretty and spring-like. I completely agree that you should keep it this way - looks lovely just the way it is.
very nice! i hope i get one!!
