Magazine Inspiration

This week's Saturday Scrapbook challenge at Inspired Crafters is to find inspiration in a magazine advertisement. Well, while my computer was down for repairs, I found a stack of old scrapbooking magazines that had been missing. I ran across this ad here, and got inspired to make a page with lots of squares:

And here is my layout:

I like how you alternated photos with the patterned squares so it makes your eye move around the page. Love the green color.

I understand about the journaling on the previous post being personal. Sorry, I wasn't trying to be nosy. Just wondering if it identified the people in the photo to see if you were the baby (which, now I know, you were).

Very cool page! Was paper scrapping horrible now that you do so much digi scrapping? We have Wii Monopoly and I said the only way we are playing the original version is if the power goes out and we have nothing else to do--it's so messy with all that paper money flying around!LOL

What a cool page! I love that you showed a pic of your inspiration too. The other thing I love is that you didn't just do pic then paper, pic, paper, etc. which is something my little brain would have to do. It's so fun and inspiring to see how true scrappers do it! TFS :o)
