Card Sketch Gone Bad
I started yesterday making a card based on the sketch challenge at Split Coast Stampers. I decided to use the little truck and make an Easter card for my niece and nephew. Well, it's not going to them now! It's just not what I wanted it to look like. The truck looks like a military truck shoved full of Easter eggs. Which at first wasn't too bad, because my son is really into "army stuff" as he calls it. So I thought that I'd give it to him with his Easter goodies. But he really won't love the floral background. So, here is my card sketch gone bad. But I worked on it, and finished it, and glued it down, so I had to post it! And maybe give someone a chuckle in the process.
Stamps: SU Loads of Love, Loads of Love Accessories
Ink: PTI Dark Chocolate, Copics
Cardstock: SU Old Olive

I think its the perfect Easter Card for a little boy! He'll love it! Thanks for visiting my blog! I appreciate it. I scrolled down a bit on your page. I love your Summer by the Sea Cards and the St.Patty's Nuggets! So Cute!
I think its a cute card!
When I have colored something in that I don't like, I restamp and re-color it - or, stamp it on colored paper so there is not coloring necessary - then adhere it over the original image. That way the card is saved.
Very cute card! I had an image where I chose poorly for the colors and it looked awful. I ended up covering it with glitter. I loved it after that. LOL It'll be on my blog the middle of next week. So there can be a happy ending. I do like the card though. I don't think it's bad at all.
One of my favorite sets! I like what you have done with it too!! Cindy
Yes, looking again....you made me laugh!!
it's adorable...maybe he won't even know there are flowers...LOL
