This is for the Mojo Monday sketch from this week. I know that there is technically no time limit as to when you can play along with these sketches. But I like to make a card sometime during the week that she first shows us the sketch. I really struggled with this one. I couldn't mix and match background papers, my colors weren't working, etc, etc. So I finally just eliminated one patterned paper and went with solids for my extra layers. Then I changed the stamp set I was trying to use. I am pretty happy with the results now. I do love all of these colors together. I'm not a huge lavender/green girl, but with these PTI colors, I find myself reaching for them a lot more than I ever would have thought. I just like the way they look when they are paired up. So pretty! I can totally relate. Sometimes I see a sketch and have in my mind immediately what I want to do with it. But then I get in my craft room and nothing is working. So I end up changing the patterned paper which means I have to change the color of the cardstock I had pulled. And then the image I chose no longer goes with the new color combo so I have to pick another one. A card that should have taken 20 minutes to make has now used up 2 hours just selecting the things to use!

i like this card. all your struggles paid off. personally i have a hard time with most of Mojo's sketches...she has proven time and time again that she is much smarter then me...LOL
