All of the new Verve stamps will be released tonight. To celebrate, there is a special challenge sketch posted on the Verve blog, with a chance to win free stamps! Hurry on over if you are interested, because your card must be posted by 6pm Eastern time tonight.
So I spent most of the day yesterday stamping images for my kids to color in, in between trying to study for a test. It was so fun to watch them coloring and playing. My daughter loves to make cards for her grandmas, her cousins that don't live by us, and her friends that have moved away. So when I remembered this little frog stamp I'd bought, I got it out to use for this fun sketch. I was going to add a sentiment on the front, but it was way too big. So I stamped it on the inside....sending sunshine and flowers! I thought it went perfectly with the card.
After looking at lots of cards posted from the challenge, it just hit me! As soon as I decided to use the "sunshine" in the corner, I could have switched my card base to blue, like the sky. Oh, well, I doubt the recipient will be analyzing this too much, but I had to add that I thought of that, in hindsight!
