Digiments Day!

It's finally here! Digiments is up and running! I have had so much fun working with these digiments, and it was inspiring this morning to see what the other designers created. Here is a link to take a peek or place an order. I just loved this digiment, and was really excited to use it. However, I gravitate towards using girly flowers and pink, so I knew I needed to stay away from that! I found this paper and loved the colors in it, and then found an awesome sketch at Taylored Expressions that was perfect for the look I wanted. Thanks to all the people who gave me input on threading my buttons, I found scrapper's floss the other day. That's no guarantee I'll be threading all my buttons, though! But when I do, this stuff is pretty easy to use.

Digiment: Just For Dad series
Cardstock: PTI Ripe Avocado, SU Kraft, Blue from Stash
DP: Chatter Box
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Argyle Embosssing Folder, Offray Ribbon, Random Buttons

Happy Release Day!

I know how daunting it is sometimes to use masculine colors on a card, but you definitely achieved it with both of your Dad's day cards! This card uses a great color combo perfect for the digiment you used. Michelle did come up with some awesome digiments. Love the layout as well with the digiment slightly turned. The buttons add the perfect embellie to the cards. You know I've just either crochet thread or just regular string (I have use a needle to get the string through the holes) for my buttons. I am too frugal to buy the real stuff *wink*!!! I guess some people have bough hemp twine too.

Awesome, awesome work!I am in awe of all of the talent we have on the DT.

Hugs, Alma =)

Your card is fabulous! I have trouble with masculine stuff and hubby says when I make a "man" card it's still kind of a girl card. LOL
