Happy Birthday to my VIP!
I've fallen a little out of the stamping groove, again. I have had ideas for several projects, but they haven't all been turning out how I pictured. So I sat the stamps aside, and I have been working on my scrapbook pages again. This week my daughter is the "VIP" in her class. That means she gets to have the class' stuffed dog Patch come home for the week, she gets to take the Incredible Edible Estimation Jar to school, and she gets to have a little scrapbook page all about her on display all week. Well, today is also her birthday! She's so excited that she is the VIP and birthday girl in the same week! I can't believe that my baby is six! So here is the scrapbook page I made for her to send to school. She loved it, even though she informed me that yellow is really her favorite color now, not pink!

Oh how funny! My daughter's class does the EXACT same thing! She brough home a Webkinz doggie, we had to journal our time with him, take lots of pics, etc. Then I made a poster board about her to display in class. This is adorable, Rebecca! Don't worry, your stamping mojo will be back : )

Ohhh this is adorable!! - - even if her fave color is not pink anymore. I love the "the details" part -- that's a great look/font right there. How fun all the things they do for the birthday recognition. Of course she loved it...and what a great name she has!

When my niece was about your daughter's age, she loved loved loved pink. So I spent a lot of time making her all kinds of pink things for her room. Then she decided her favorite color was blue. So I made blue things for her. And, you guessed it, she changed her mind again. Now as a pre-teen (she'll be 11 soon) she likes really deep, dark red (her words). Kids are so funny.
