A Merry Little Christmas

Today's card is made using a Studio G sketch challenge posted on Paper Craft Planet. My son's school class has been practicing for their Christmas program, and he comes home singing Christmas songs almost every day. I am not intentionally trying to skip over Thanksgiving, but I was definitely feeling festive yesterday, so I went with a Christmas card for this sketch. I love the song "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." It's one of my favorite Christmas songs. It's a gorgeous sunny day here, but I guess Christmas will be here in no time, so it's not a bad thing to be getting a little stash of Christmas cards built up.

Stamps: Studio G
Ink: PTI Chamomile, Pure Poppy
CS: PTI Rustic Cream
DP: DCWV
Accessories: Corner Rounder, Ripe Avocado Satin Ribbon

I love that song too...but it brings tears to my eyes and I'm not sure why. Was it in Sleepless in Seattle or something? It makes me think sad. Love this card - - and thanks for playing along with the challenge!! I like your vintage tea inking around the edges...I've kept that on my craft table and am using it more lately too...it's a great touch! And look - - -patterned paper -- LOVE!!

Now that song is in my head--that's ok because I love that song too! Lovely card, Rebecca and it's never to early to start Christmas cards.

Cute layout. I like how you rounded the top edges of the images.

You just had to mention that song didn't you? Now I'll have it stuck in my head for a week :-)
