I really like the card sketch from Sketches! {by tamara} this week. I thought it was a cute sketch, and her design team had some really fun examples. So I sat down to make a Mother's Day card. I got finished and started to put my things away. Then I decided that I should just make a quick baby card while I had my stuff out. Well, I like the Mother's Day card a lot better. I can't totally put my finger on it, but something on the baby card isn't quite right. Maybe the light pink footprints are too light and blend into the background too much. I'm not totally sure. Oh, well, it was a 2-card Friday, so that's okay. Have a great Friday everyone!

Both cards are great! I think we can all be too critical of our own work at times :)

I love your take on the sketch! I have the paper you used for the baby card, so I'm thinking I might just need to copy it!
