It's a Makeover!

No, Stacy and Clinton aren't coming to my house. It's a card makeover! The Clean And Simple Challenge at Split Coast Stampers this week is to take a card you previously made and make it over. You can take a card that wasn't CAS and change it to CAS, or improve upon a CAS card you already made. Well, here is the card I changed. I thought it was especially funny to change it to "Clean and Simple" since the background paper was called "Dirty Laundry!" I find myself leaning more and more towards clean and simple cards as the style I really like making. I'm happy with how this turned out, and hope it inspires you to try a clean and simple card today!

Stamps: Verve Petals and Stems, TAC Sentiment
Ink: Colorbox Sunflower, PTI Hibiscus Burst, PTI Plum Pudding, PTI Ripe Avocado
CS: PTI Plum Pudding

Interesting little challenge - and you do CAS so well. You really do both ends of the spectrums well and I don't think that's easy to master. Love the colors too. No idea who Stacy & Clinton are - LOL - are they on the What Not To Wear TLC show or something?

I really like this version of your card. Even though the original had a CAS layout, this make over card has a fresher look with the white card base.

I watch Stacey and Clinton too. Which is really funny because I'm SO not into fashion. But I like to see the before and afters. Probably the same reason I like home improvement shows.

Your makeover card is as good as Clinton and Stacey's fashon makeovers! Love it!

Love how you simplified the card! Both cards are great but you can't beat CAS when you need a quick card!
