Recipe Card Box

Well, my Kraft cardstock arrived, so I could make my recipe box. I've had this paper from some scrapbook store for a long time. I thought that it was perfect for my recipe box project. I've found that if I size my recipe cards at 5 3/4 inches square, they fit great into this box. Eventually I think I'll make a different box for each category, like main dishes, dessert, breads, etc. But for now I'll use one box for all of them, and make some fun dividers. Then as each box fills up, I'll make a new one.

Cute recipe box. I am in the process of organizing my mess of recipes. My final result will most likely be in 8 1/2 by 11 page protectors and binders because I have so many. I think I collect recipes worse than scrapbooking supplies! LOL I love your blog and have a gift for you. http://missioninkpossible.blogspot.com/2009/07/lovely-blog-award.html

I love this! And what a great idea to eventually have them for each category!! Much less bulky. Your pattern paper is perfect. Isn't wonderful to use something you've had for a while and have it turn out great?!

Oh that is really adorable...and doesn't it feel great to use some paper that you have had around for a while? A different box for each category is going to look awesome together...can't wait to see that set!

How cute! How fun to have a box for each category! You could use coordinating papers and that would look so awesome! I wish I enjoyed cooking lol : ) Did you get my e-mail about me not getting your e-mail?

I love this!! It's so pretty!! I love kraft cardstock. My hubby doesn't though, I forget and always use it on his cards. He calls it recycled. I suppose because it's the color of a paper bag. Little does he know, it wasn't free!!
